  1. Thanks for getting Chatter 2.0!!!

  3. Warning this is the very first BETA version of the Chatter 2.0 software. We don’t guarantee how well it works.

  5. You are using this software at your own risk, ans we assume no responsibility for this software other than that required by the law.

  7. Remember, the Chatter requires HyperCard 2.1 or later, and System 7 or later. It also needs to Macintoshes connect to an AppleTalk Network. It should work accross zones, but it has not been tested in that configuration.

  9. This software is messageware, and is not in the public domain. All you have to do is send a message to one of the authors.

  23. New features in 2.0:
  24. • The Chatter is now able to chat with another HC 2.1 on the network even if they don’t have the chatter. It will send a modified version of the Chatter over the net. This copy is for that chat only, and cannot initiate any chats. Please click on the CloseChat button when done chatting, then the Chatter will automatically delete itself. We hope to have it send a full version by the release of 2.0.
